Trudon’s story began in 1643, when Claude Trudon took ownership of a shop on Paris’s rue Saint-Honoré, selling spices and candles. Over the centuries, this historic house has perfected the art of candle making and fragrance, becoming synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and beautifully distinctive scents.

Today, Trudon’s candles are still handmade in France, using an outstanding wax base and carefully composed fragrances designed to fill a room with an unmistakable presence. Behind every candle lies centuries of expertise, from the 22 different wicks, each selected for the individual fragrance and wax, to the hand-crafted glass vessels made in Tuscany, inspired by the elegant shape of champagne buckets.

It is this attention to detail that makes Trudon so very special. When cared for correctly, the candles burn beautifully and evenly, with no smoke and no wax left around the edge of the glass.

The Trudon collection now extends beyond candles to include Room Diffusers and Fragrances, as well as the more recent addition of Hand Wash and Hand Lotion. Presented in striking glass dispensers and available in a refillable format, they bring Trudon’s distinctive approach to fragrance into every part of your home.
